The Architectural Drafter/Architectural Intern/Architect position at a well-established local architectural firm focuses on assisting with various retail projects, including Big Box stores, retail centers, and strip malls. The role requires proficiency in architectural design and drafting, particularly for retail environments, and involves collaboration with architects and team leaders to produce detailed layouts and plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist in architectural design and drafting for retail projects.
• Produce detailed layouts, including ceiling and floor plans, elevations, and BOMs.
• Perform red lining and production work as directed by architects and team leaders.
• Collaborate with team members on various retail projects.

Requirements

• Associates' or Bachelor's degree in a related field is desired but not required.
• Experience in architectural design and drafting for retail projects is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
• Experience with Revit is a plus.
• Previous drafting experience for gymnasiums is a plus.
• Must have experience in production work, including red lining and layout.
