Brunsell Lumber and Millwork, a leader in building material supplies in southern Wisconsin, is seeking an Architectural Millwork Sales Representative to join our team in Madison. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in selling architectural millwork to residential contractors. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business relationships and closing sales from our extensive portfolio of standard and unique products. As a representative of Brunsell Lumber & Millwork, you will play a crucial role in connecting with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that meet their specifications. In this role, you will engage in prospecting and networking to grow sales within your designated territory. You will collect data on customer needs and design specifications, acting as a liaison between the inside technical/design staff, production staff, and customers to develop effective sales proposals. Providing superior customer service is paramount, ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their purchases and that their needs are met throughout the sales process. Your responsibilities will include taking measurements and collecting specification information on-site, estimating the amount and cost of materials, and conducting professional sales presentations. You will troubleshoot issues in the field, serve as a point of contact for pricing and service updates, and leverage trade resources to attract profitable business. Continuous learning is encouraged, and you will have opportunities to enhance your product knowledge through company-sponsored training programs and attendance at industry trade shows and meetings. Additionally, you will prepare reports and documents for management as required, and carry out other duties as assigned.
