About the position

As a Rhino Designer at Actalent, you will play a crucial role in the development of architectural drawings and documentation throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design to engineering. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure successful implementation at each stage of the project, facilitating clean handoffs between teams. You will be tasked with communicating project schedules and needs effectively, ensuring that all aspects of the project are accurately loaded and scheduled. This requires strong time management skills as you will be managing your own schedules and project timelines. In this position, you will verify product layouts and usage, develop custom design solutions, and package complete product specifications for Design, Engineering, and Production teams. Your role will also involve working on internal product development or special projects, which may require you to maintain a physical presence on the Production and Assembly floor as scheduled. This hands-on approach will allow you to ensure that the designs are not only innovative but also practical and feasible for production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture, with a focus on commercial projects. You will need to demonstrate proficiency in creating floor plans, interior designs, and renderings, as well as experience in producing construction documents, including Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCPs), construction details, and schedules for room finishes and door hardware. Familiarity with Rhino 3D and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is essential, while experience with Grasshopper/Dynamo and Revit/AutoCAD is preferred. Visualization skills in VRay and 3DS Max will also be advantageous in this role.
