About the position

We are looking for an Architectural Project Coordinator who can think critically and constructively to work on technically complex and sensitive projects within a dynamic, small-office environment. The ideal candidate will be involved in various stages of project development, from conception through completion, and will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects meet client expectations and adhere to regulatory requirements. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Project Architect to develop and prepare design drawings. You will also coordinate with design consultants, vendors, and manufacturers to ensure that all aspects of the project are aligned. Researching building codes and other project requirements will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will performing site visits and attending client meetings to maintain open lines of communication and ensure project success. Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively and constructively with all team members.
  • Support Project Manager and Project Architect in developing and preparing design drawings from conception through completion.
  • Coordinate projects with design consultants, vendors, and manufacturers.
  • Research building code and other project requirements.
  • Work with regulatory agencies.
  • Perform site visits and attend client meetings.
  • Meet client expectations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working in a Commercial Architecture setting.
  • Demonstrate technical thinking abilities and attention to detail.
  • Possess strong communication skills.
  • Experience working with AutoCad and other design and graphics software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Thorough experience working with Revit in a design and production capacity.
  • Possess a professional degree in architecture (BS or BArch).
  • Experience in Healthcare Design.
  • Seek licensure-track career path.
  • Demonstrate strong design abilities.
