About the position

The Architectural Project Coordinator at Synalovski Romanik Saye (SRS) is responsible for developing architectural projects in alignment with client specifications and goals. This role involves utilizing various design tools and software to communicate project ideas and prepare design development drawings, ultimately leading to the construction documents phase. The coordinator will work closely with the Director of Design and Project Managers, ensuring effective collaboration with office staff and maintaining organized project files throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop projects in coordination with client requirements, specifications, and goals.
• Communicate project ideas through sketches and computer design tools such as 3D modeling, AutoCAD, BIM (Revit), SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Prepare design development drawings and produce documents through to the construction documents phase.
• Collaborate with office staff and other satellite offices.
• Coordinate and maintain project files including correspondence, drawings, and other relevant materials associated with projects.
• Assist during construction administration in the review and processing of shop drawings and approvals of material samples.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of design and construction methods.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawing standards and code compliance.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in Architecture.
• Strong design, computer, technical, and graphic skills.
• Strong knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion, and Photoshop.
• Knowledge in 3D programs (Sketchup, Max, Rhino) and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and writing skills, attention to detail, and highly organized.
• Self-starter, able to work independently, and able to multitask.
