About the position

The Architectural Project Coordinator at Zyscovich is responsible for developing architectural projects in alignment with client requirements and specifications. This role involves collaborating with the design team to prepare design development drawings and construction documents, while also ensuring effective communication of project ideas through various design tools. The coordinator will manage project files and assist during the construction administration phase, making it a vital position within the architectural firm.

Responsibilities

• Develop projects in coordination with client requirements, specifications, and goals.
• Communicate project ideas through sketches and computer design tools such as 3D modeling, AutoCAD, BIM (Revit), and SketchUp.
• Prepare design development drawings and produce documents through to the construction documents phase in collaboration with the Director of Design and Project Managers.
• Coordinate and maintain project files including correspondence, drawings, and other relevant materials associated with projects.
• Assist during the construction administration in the review and processing of shop drawings and approvals of material samples.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of design and construction methods.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawing standards and code compliance.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in Architecture.
• Strong design, computer, technical, and graphic skills.
• Strong knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion, and Photoshop.
• Excellent communication and writing skills, attention to detail, and highly organized.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge in 3D programs (Sketchup, Max, Rhino) and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus.
