About the position

As an Architectural Project Designer at Core States Group, you will play a crucial role in designing and drafting architectural projects within the Architecture and Engineering business unit. This position involves collaboration with various engineering disciplines and project managers to produce architectural construction documents that meet client and code requirements. The role emphasizes strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients while adhering to the company's core values of Integrity, Service, Excellence, Innovation, and Inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site feasibility research and site visit investigations.
• Generate reports and recommendations based on findings.
• Coordinate with sub-consultants.
• Assist in maintaining task budgets.
• Coordinate and assist with addendums, RFIs, and change orders.
• Assist in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and contract document phases of a project.
• Assist managers with the project approval process.
• Organize and maintain project files.
• Maintain documentation for billable hours.
• Demonstrate an understanding of basis of design as well as codes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture required
• 4+ years of architecture production, preferably with retail projects
• Must have experience with Revit
• Additional experience in AutoCAD, MS Office, Photoshop, Adobe and SketchUp a plus
