About the position

As an Architectural Project Designer at Core States Group, you will play a crucial role in designing and drafting architectural projects within the Architecture and Engineering business unit. This position involves collaboration with Project Architects and Project Managers, as well as coordination with various engineering disciplines. You will be responsible for producing architectural construction documents while ensuring compliance with client and code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site feasibility research and site visit investigations.
• Generate reports and recommendations based on findings.
• Coordinate with sub-consultants.
• Assist in maintaining task budgets.
• Coordinate and assist with addendums, RFIs, and change orders.
• Assist in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and contract document phases of a project.
• Assist managers with the project approval process.
• Organize and maintain project files.
• Maintain documentation for billable hours.
• Demonstrate an understanding of basis of design as well as codes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture required
• 4+ years of architecture production, preferably with retail projects
• Must have experience with Revit
• Additional experience in AutoCAD, MS Office, Photoshop, Adobe and SketchUp a plus
