About the position

The Architectural Project Manager, also known as the Architectural Sales Consultant, is responsible for driving sales and developing new business within the architectural and commercial communities. This role involves building relationships, presenting educational units, and providing technical solutions to enhance product specification and sales. The position requires significant travel and collaboration with regional sales teams to optimize sales strategies.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, identify, and establish relationships with members of the architectural community to drive product specification and sales.
• Effectively present AIA Continuing Educational learning units to architectural firms.
• Pursue business development with facility managers and owners of institutional properties.
• Plan and host factory tours with targeted architects, designers, channel partners, and trade customers.
• Provide product and technical solutions on individual project opportunities.
• Work with regional sales team to assess and develop channel partners' programs and services.

Requirements

• A degree in an architectural, construction, or business-related field or equivalent industry experience.
• Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) certification, or the ability to obtain one within two years of employment.
• Proven experience in consultative value proposition sales specifying premium products to architectural/design firms.
• Fenestration experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.
• Ability to navigate CAD-based design.
• Must be able to periodically lift up to 50 lbs.
