About the position

We are currently seeking a career-minded Architectural Revit Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in designing for institutional, commercial, and automotive research buildings. This position requires a strong proficiency in Revit, as well as a general knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Familiarity with AutoCAD is considered a plus. Applicants must possess a comprehensive understanding of building construction, building systems, and document development. As an Architectural Revit Designer, you will collaborate with project teams to develop various Building Information Modeling (BIM) deliverables for clients. This includes modeling and detailing for project documents, as well as being responsible for Revit project setup. You will coordinate multi-discipline and multi-company/consultant projects, assist project managers with model presentations and client meetings, and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Your expertise in BIM and CAD will be essential in adhering to project execution plans and workflow criteria, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project teams for development of various BIM deliverables to clients, including modeling and detailing for project documents.
  • Responsible for Revit Project Setup.
  • Coordinate multi-discipline, multi-company/consultant projects.
  • Assist project managers with model presentation and client meetings.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to meet deadlines.

Requirements

  • Associates / Bachelor's Degree in Architecture/Engineering, Architectural Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience in BIM; Revit or equivalent BIM software.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building construction, building systems, and document development.
  • Expanded 3D modeling skills including parametric control of 3D solids within a family or block.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Experience with CAD file integration into a project.
