About the position

The Architectural Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting Quikrete Best Block products to architectural and design firms in the St. Louis area. This role focuses on maintaining existing relationships with architects while also developing new accounts to drive revenue growth. The representative will also be involved in securing specifications, conducting presentations, and attending trade shows as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Quikrete Best Block products to architectural firms and design build firms.
  • Maintain current architect account base and develop new accounts for revenue growth.
  • Secure and track specifications from architects and specifiers using construction reporting services, Excel, or CRM programs.
  • Give AIA CEU lunch presentations.
  • Attend trade shows upon local company's request.
  • Communicate with management to ensure duties are completed appropriately.

Requirements

  • 4-year bachelor's degree or minimum of 5 years of industry-related experience in sales and management.
  • Proficient with MS Teams, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to resolve conflict and problem-solve with customers.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to listen.
