About the position

The Architectural Sales Territory Manager will be responsible for driving sales of architectural products in the Houston, TX region. This role requires a strong understanding of the architecture and design community, with a focus on building relationships with architects, contractors, and other specifiers. The position emphasizes the ability to create technical specifications and provide innovative solutions to meet client needs, all while working collaboratively within the company to achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with architects, contractors, designers, and other specifiers in the A&D community.
  • Create and manage technical specifications for architectural products throughout the bidding and ordering process.
  • Provide creative solutions to meet the needs and concerns of specifiers.
  • Utilize CRM software and other technologies to manage sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Design to achieve common goals.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in the architectural products industry.
  • Strong understanding of the architecture and design community.
  • Ability to craft technical specifications and follow them through the sales cycle.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with CRM software and technology utilization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or related field.
  • Technical experience in architecture or related fields prior to transitioning into sales.
  • Strong local contacts within the A&D community.
