About the position

The Architectural Signage Production Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the production process within our company, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a highly skilled individual who can manage the daily activities of the production department, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget. The Production Manager will coordinate closely with design, sales, and installation teams to facilitate a seamless workflow and maintain clear communication across departments. In this role, the Production Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing production schedules, prioritizing projects based on deadlines and resource availability. A key aspect of this position is managing and mentoring production staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. The Production Manager will also monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and company policies, troubleshooting any issues that arise and implementing effective solutions to maintain both efficiency and quality. Additionally, the manager will maintain inventory levels and order materials as needed, optimizing costs and minimizing waste to ensure the profitability of the production department.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the production department, ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with design, sales, and installation teams to ensure seamless workflow and clear communication.
  • Develop and implement production schedules, prioritizing projects based on deadlines and resource availability.
  • Manage and mentor production staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and company policies.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions to maintain efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain inventory levels and order materials as needed, optimizing cost and minimizing waste.

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of Custom Architectural Sign Industry experience.
  • At least 1+ years of Production Management experience.
  • Highly experienced/knowledgeable in custom sign fabrication such as channel letters, monument signs, pylon signs, cabinet signs, and more.
  • Experience managing workflow and employees in a manufacturing environment.
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
  • Computer proficiency is a must, specifically in spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets) and Word programs.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
