About the position

The Architectural Signage Production Manager will oversee all aspects of the sign production and installation processes at one of the largest sign companies in the Great Lakes Region. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient operations, high-quality output, and timely delivery of projects, requiring strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the production department and staff, ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with design, sales, and installation teams to ensure seamless workflow and clear communication.
  • Develop and implement production schedules, prioritizing projects based on deadlines and resource availability.
  • Manage and mentor production staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and company policies.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions to maintain efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain inventory levels and order materials as needed, optimizing cost and minimizing waste.

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of Custom Architectural Sign Industry experience
  • At least 3+ years of Production Management experience
  • Highly experienced/knowledgeable in custom sign fabrication such as channel letters, monument signs, pylon signs, cabinet signs, and more.
  • Experience managing workflow and employees in manufacturing environment
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Computer proficiency is a must, specifically in spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook programs)
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills.
