About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our dynamic team. The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of the production process, ensuring efficient operations, high-quality output, and timely delivery of projects. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering top-notch products. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production department, ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget. This includes coordinating with design, sales, and installation teams to ensure seamless workflow and clear communication. The Production Manager will also develop and implement production schedules, prioritizing projects based on deadlines and resource availability. Additionally, the role involves managing and mentoring production staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Monitoring production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and company policies is crucial, as well as troubleshooting production issues and implementing effective solutions to maintain efficiency and quality. The Production Manager will also maintain inventory levels and order materials as needed, optimizing cost and minimizing waste.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the production department, ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with design, sales, and installation teams to ensure seamless workflow and clear communication.
  • Develop and implement production schedules, prioritizing projects based on deadlines and resource availability.
  • Manage and mentor production staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and company policies.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions to maintain efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain inventory levels and order materials as needed, optimizing cost and minimizing waste.

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of Custom Architectural Sign Industry experience
  • At least 1+ years of Production Management experience
  • Highly experienced/knowledgeable in custom sign fabrication such as channel letters, monument signs, pylon signs, cabinet signs, and more.
  • Experience managing workflow and employees in manufacturing environment
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Computer proficiency is a must, specifically in spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets) and Word programs.
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills.
