About the position

The Architecture and Design Manager will represent the Steelcase portfolio while collaborating with designers and architects to support their projects and goals. This role involves building strong partnerships with the design community and local dealers, focusing on strategic market approaches in the Philadelphia Metro and Eastern Pennsylvania areas.

Responsibilities

• Develop close relationships with designers and design firms to uncover new opportunities for Steelcase and partner brands.
• Understand current workplace issues and trends across multiple industries to become a resource for clients.
• Leverage Steelcase research and products to educate design firms on trends related to people and place.
• Foster partnerships with local dealers on design community marketing and branding strategies.
• Engage with the regional Steelcase team for additional insights and perspectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5 years of sales experience
• Experience selling to or working within the design community
• Located in Philadelphia
• Strong relationship skills and maturity to develop relationships at all levels within design and architecture firms.
• Self-motivated, well-adapted, and results-oriented.
• Dynamic communication skills including presentation, written, and verbal.
• High level of organizational and management skills for coordinating complex projects and executing on goals.
