About the position

The Technical Pod Lead/IAM SME (Pod) is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to the assessment pod. This position is designed for an individual with extensive experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) who can serve as a subject matter expert on IAM best practices, standards, and controls. The Technical Pod Lead will ensure the quality and consistency of the assessment deliverables, playing a crucial role in the overall success of the pod's objectives. In this role, the Technical Pod Lead will be tasked with reviewing and validating the assessment findings and recommendations provided by the Application Security Engineers. This involves engaging with application owners to clarify technical details and provide guidance on remediation options. The Technical Pod Lead will also collaborate with other Pod Leads to ensure a consistent approach across the organization and to share best practices that enhance the effectiveness of IAM controls. The position requires a strong technical background in IAM, with a focus on tools such as SailPoint, Okta, Cyberark, and BeyondTrust for Privileged Access Management. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling them to effectively lead and mentor team members while fostering a collaborative environment within the pod.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the pod members
• Serve as the subject matter expert on IAM best practices, standards, and controls
• Review and validate the assessment findings and recommendations provided by the Application Security Engineers
• Engage with app owners to clarify technical details and provide guidance on remediation options
• Collaborate with other Pod Leads to ensure consistency in approach and share best practices

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in IAM, with a deep understanding of IAM best practices, standards, and frameworks
• Technical experience in SailPoint, Okta, Cyberark and BeyondTrust for Privileged Access Management
• Strong technical skills, with the ability to assess the effectiveness of IAM controls
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to lead and mentor team members
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC
