About the position

The Area Brand Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with grocery accounts in the Houston area. This role involves daily travel to various accounts, ensuring product placement, and maintaining stock levels for multiple brands and products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales or account management, with a focus on relationship-building and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service 8-12 grocery accounts daily in Houston area
  • Ensure product displays are accurate and well-stocked
  • Drive product placement to maximize visibility and sales
  • Handle orders, expenses, and client presentations
  • Develop promotional plans to support product growth
  • Collaborate with account HQs and local management teams
  • Provide reports and updates during weekly team meetings
  • Participate in occasional corporate events and training trips
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Conduct product presentations and demos for clients
  • Provide regular account updates and sales reports
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitor activities

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales or account management experience required
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally 4 days/week required

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred but not required
