About the position

The Area Business Manager for Cell Therapy at Bristol-Myers Squibb is a leadership role responsible for managing the Cell Therapy account management team. This position focuses on executing the CAR T account management strategy, achieving commercial objectives, and ensuring a seamless patient experience. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and the development of strategic plans to enhance the company's position in the cellular therapy market.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Cell Therapy account management team and oversee the execution of the CAR T account management strategy.
  • Achieve commercial objectives for cell therapy launches through effective account planning and execution.
  • Develop and support access to all levels of customers within the CAR T site, including corporate level representation.
  • Recruit, hire, and develop Cell Therapy Account Managers, providing coaching and counseling for professional growth.
  • Drive revenue and referral strategies to enable community oncology/hematology centers to refer patients to CAR T certified sites.
  • Monitor field activity to ensure balanced workloads and oversee business operations, including budgets and expenses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine launch strategies and execute brand goals and referral tactics.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with key accounts and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of sales experience, with 5 years in Hematology or Oncology sales preferred.
  • Experience in hospital sales and key account management strategy in large, complex accounts.
  • Strong analytical, consulting, and business planning skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with effective presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and travel as needed (up to 60%).
  • Valid driver's license and Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
