The Area Chief of Staff at Banfield Pet Hospital plays a crucial role in leading, developing, and managing associate veterinarians across multiple hospitals. They will also be responsible for developing and coaching associate veterinarians, helping them acquire the necessary technical and functional skills to excel in their roles. The Area Chief of Staff will work alongside the Director of Veterinary Quality to recruit and onboard new veterinarians, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the team. Additionally, they will focus on driving veterinary quality KPIs and supporting the engagement and retention of both veterinarians and certified veterinary technicians. The Area Chief of Staff will also manage medical equipment inventory and functionality, ensuring that all equipment meets the required standards. They will actively participate in veterinary organizations to promote Banfield's brand and reputation while ensuring that hospital operations comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
