About the position

The Area Coach at Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is responsible for overseeing the operations of a specialized pharmacy that processes and dispenses prescriptions for multiple retail locations. This role emphasizes the importance of financial acumen, influential communication, safety, project management, data analysis, and customer service management. The Area Coach will ensure operational excellence while supporting the pharmacy's mission to enhance community health services through efficient prescription management. This position requires onsite presence and involves a rotating schedule, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of the Central Fill Pharmacy to ensure efficient processing and dispensing of prescriptions.
• Analyze business and financial data to support the implementation of business plans and track financial goals.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, presenting complex information clearly.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits within the pharmacy environment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Manage customer service issues, ensuring timely resolution and satisfaction.
• Supervise resource management and plan the delivery of services and programs.
• Coordinate and evaluate the quality of operations delivered throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent experience as a Walmart supervisor or external leadership experience leading a team of five or more.
• Completion of a Board-approved program or Pharmacy Technician University program.
• Must become a registered pharmacy technician in the state of practice within one year of job entry.
