About the position

The Area Coach (AC) is responsible for providing leadership and direct supervision to approximately 5 - 10 Taco Bell restaurants, ensuring that each Restaurant General Manager (RGM) meets or exceeds their Annual Operating Plan. The AC supports RGMs by coaching and directing them on a daily basis, focusing on performance targets in guest service, margin improvement, and employee satisfaction. This role also involves hands-on operational work as needed to train new managerial employees and respond to customer service needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direct supervision of multiple Taco Bell restaurants.
• Support the long-term development of RGMs and ensure consistent customer satisfaction.
• Coach RGMs on performance targets in guest service, margin improvement, and employee satisfaction.
• Conduct orientation for new managers to set them up for success.
• Analyze financial performance and coach RGMs on driving sales and maximizing profitability.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive customer relations.

Requirements

• Associates or Undergraduate degree or equivalent Taco Bell/industry experience.
• 6-8 years supervisory experience in a food service or retail environment.
• Thorough knowledge of Taco Bell performance metrics, product specifications, and management systems.
• Technically proficient in all aspects of food preparation, production, and delivery.
• Demonstrated track record of workplace achievement in the selection, coaching, and development of managerial employees.
• Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction, financial performance, and employee satisfaction.
• Must pass background check criteria and drug test.
