About the position

The Area Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple restaurants within a designated geographic area. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with company guidelines, maximizing profits and sales, maintaining high employee morale, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of restaurants, ensuring adherence to company standards.
• Foster a culture prioritizing cleanliness, organization, and exceptional guest experiences.
• Communicate daily with the Director of Operations regarding sales, labor tracking, and operational focuses.
• Conduct DNA audits and ensure compliance with operational checklists and action plans.
• Administer policies established by upper management and ensure consistency in brand standards.
• Ensure profitability and quality staffing levels in all restaurants.
• Reconcile P&Ls for the region's restaurants and ensure effective training programs are in place.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of operating procedures and company standards.
• Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead by example and foster mentoring relationships.
• Excellent problem-solving and business decision-making skills.
• At least five years of high-level management experience in the restaurant industry.
• Multi-unit operations experience preferred.
