About the position

The Area Lead at Titian Cleaning LLC is responsible for performing janitorial duties across multiple locations in Baton Rouge. This role requires daily travel, manual labor, and the operation of basic mechanical cleaning equipment. The position emphasizes maintaining cleanliness in office spaces, break areas, and restrooms, ensuring a hygienic environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash containers and recycle receptacles.
• Dust mop, sweep, wet mop, buff floors.
• Vacuum rugs and carpets.
• Scrub and clean restroom fixtures and keep restroom supplied with towels, toilet tissue, soap, and other items.
• Dust and clean walls, doors, windows, woodwork, and other above-floor surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen/break room area.
• Dust, clean and polish furniture.
• Clean door glass interior and exterior.
• Clean inside and applicable outside window glass.
• Police areas around outside of building.
• Perform related work as required and instructed.

Requirements

• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength.
• Ability to operate mechanical cleaning equipment.
• Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions in the performance of the job.
• Ability to establish and maintain working relations with supervisor and fellow workers.
• Knowledge and operations of mechanical cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge in floor care for both carpet and hard floor.
• Perform equipment and supply inventory at facility location.
• Must be able to communicate in English verbally and written.
• Applicant must pass E-Verify and Louisiana State Police Criminal Background Check.
• Must have reliable transportation.
