The Area Leasing Specialist at Veris Residential, Inc. is responsible for managing the leasing process for luxury apartment communities in Jersey City, New Jersey. This role involves engaging with prospective residents, conducting property tours, and guiding clients through the leasing process, ensuring a positive experience that aligns with the company's commitment to sustainability and community impact.
Responsibilities
- Meet, greet, and qualify prospective residents.
- Follow up on phone leads and referrals.
- Schedule appointments for and conduct property tours.
- Guide clients through the leasing process from lease application to qualification and final move-in.
Requirements
- Previous successful experience in a customer service environment (retail, hotel, and restaurant industry experience welcome).
- NJ Real Estate License required.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to successfully multi-task and work independently while meeting multiple demanding deadlines.
- Proven intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous residential leasing experience.
- Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations/guidelines.
