About the position

The Area Manager II at Kellogg Garden Products is responsible for servicing, merchandising, and promoting the sale of Kellogg branded products within an assigned territory. This role involves engaging with consumers to assist them in selecting appropriate products for their gardening needs, thereby increasing sales through effective in-store merchandising and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales of Kellogg branded products through in-store merchandising and selling.
• Service product's home locations, build and stock displays, and clean products.
• Manage inventories and meet with store management.
• Assist customers with their soil selection and answer general gardening questions.
• Educate consumers on the benefits of Kellogg branded products.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 to 2 years previous sales or retail experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and lift heavy objects weighing 50 lbs. or more consistently.
• Must have a personal smartphone (Android 4.0 and up or iPhone 9.0 or later) with data.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license with proof of car insurance.
• Clean driving record.
