About the position

The Area Manager is responsible for driving sales, managing expenses, and overseeing the operational activities of a designated district, which includes 5-7 stores. This role focuses on enhancing customer experience, talent management, financial oversight, and operational management to ensure the success of the stores within the district.

Responsibilities

  • Drive customer experience by embodying and articulating the customer service model, ensuring excellent service to maximize sales and loyalty.
  • Assess and engage Store Managers to identify talent opportunities and develop their teams through recruitment, training, and coaching.
  • Monitor controllable expenses and analyze financial reports to maintain acceptable levels and minimize shrink.
  • Provide oversight of store operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and a focus on customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years' experience in business, management, and/or merchandising.
  • Specialty retail or trade knowledge, problem-solving skills, and ability to drive associate engagement.
  • Thorough knowledge of inventory management strategies and merchandising techniques.
  • Ability to plan, organize, lead, and control operations effectively.
