About the position

The Area Manager for Retail Sales at The Good Feet Store is responsible for overseeing and guiding the sales teams at the Tyler and Shreveport locations. This role focuses on increasing sales, managing team performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The Area Manager will deliver presentations, evaluate sales performance, and prepare sales reports while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing, training, and providing overall guidance to the sales team using company training materials.
• Setting reasonable sales targets for the sales team to achieve.
• Monitoring the performance of the sales team and motivating members to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Coordinating store operations to accomplish sales and profit goals.
• Participating in monthly P&L reviews.
• Creating exceptional shopping experiences and leading by example.
• Supporting store operations with system processing, inventory, and chargebacks.
• Resolving customer service issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business management, or related field preferred.
• Proven sales experience, preferably in a sector-specific role.
• Proven track record of meeting sales quotas.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google applications.
• Excellent management, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding negotiation and consultative sales skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to work weekends as needed.
