About the position

The position involves overseeing and managing a specific area within Walmart's logistics operations. Responsibilities

• Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, associates).
• Implement the business plan for area of responsibility by communicating goals and managing staffing and scheduling.
• Monitor and manage productivity of area of responsibility by preparing, reviewing and/or analyzing business reports.
• Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on policies and procedures.
• Identify associate, customer, and/or supplier concerns and determine corrective actions.
• Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties and monitoring performance.
• Coordinate with others to ensure equipment is available for scheduled maintenance.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR 1 year Walmart Logistics experience OR 1 year transportation experience.
