The Area Manager plays a pivotal role in this mission, offering leadership to both our business-owner clients and our internal team of experts. This position is responsible for managing a multi-million dollar business that addresses a wide array of organizational challenges. The primary goal of the Area Manager is to drive results for BBSI, with full P&L responsibility for the branch. This includes increasing market share and profitability while maintaining a stakeholder mentality and a genuine commitment to delivering consistent results for our clients and internal teams. The Area Manager will report directly to the COO, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the branch organization and support a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Drive long-term success and profitability through business development and client assessment.
  • Operationalize business concepts with strong business acumen.
  • Develop the organization and advocate for business owners.
  • Benchmark, analyze, and deliver measurable results for clients.
  • Build relationships with business owners, referral partners, and decision-makers across various industries.
  • Write, develop, and deliver successful presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Manage branch P&L and maintain a consultative mindset with multiple clients.

Requirements

  • Proven record of successful leadership and team development.
  • Experience in supporting a culture focused on client and organizational objectives.
  • Ability to assess prospective clients based on operating culture, financial stability, and risk factors.
  • Strong organizational skills and business acumen.
  • Experience in developing networks of referral partners through effective networking techniques.
  • Previous business ownership experience or an ownership mentality.
  • Ability to deliver impactful presentations to individuals and groups at all levels.
