About The Position

The Area Operations Director for Service/Repair at TK Elevator is responsible for overseeing and driving the success of service and repair operations in the South area. This role focuses on efficient, cost-effective project execution, ensuring budgetary goals are met, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicles Report.
• Thorough knowledge of general management methods within the elevator industry, specifically with modernization products.
• 10 years of experience in upper-level management.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions in various forms.

Responsibilities

• Drive and support a culture of safety throughout the organization, including participation in safety training and performing safety audits.
• Manage area service/repair processes from booking to turnover, coordinating with AVP and branch management teams.
• Review P&L and financial reports to monitor branch performance and ensure budgetary goals are met.
• Plan, direct, and prioritize elevator service/repair operations, supervising project managers and utilizing project management software.
• Visit jobsites to survey progress, troubleshoot issues, and perform quality audits.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers.
• Implement and oversee strategic fade initiatives and participate in bids for large service/repair jobs.
• Assist with approvals for change orders, purchase orders, and other necessary operational documents.
• Maintain familiarity with company products and stay updated on industry code requirements.
• Support US Field Operations and Area initiatives, participating in branch coordination meetings.
