Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking an Area Operations Manager to oversee operations in the Florida Panhandle and Alabama market, specifically based out of the Santa Rosa location. This role is crucial in providing daily purpose, focus, and direction for the area operations team, which consists of 8 branches and 75 associates, with direct oversight of 5 associates. The Area Operations Manager will partner with the Area Leadership Team, Branch Managers, Sales Center Leaders, and Warehouse Management teams to ensure the accurate execution of business processes. The primary goal is to deliver goods and services efficiently, increase profits, and ensure safety and world-class customer service at all times. The responsibilities of the Area Operations Manager include implementing operational efficiency improvements, which may involve standardization of systems, quality control, safety measures, site selection, facility design, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The manager will lead the internal audit process to ensure compliance with organizational standards and identify and implement process improvements based on experience and findings. Additionally, the role requires maintaining the safety and security of the branches in accordance with OSHA standards and ensuring adherence to all organizational policies, rules, regulations, and procedures. The Area Operations Manager will also supervise the facilities to provide a safe and well-maintained work environment, identify new opportunities for cost savings, and facilitate the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the organization. This position supports the Key Leadership Team by fostering in-person communication and collaboration within the same facility or vicinity.
