About the position

The Area Operations Manager at Jushi Holdings is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the operational standards across multiple retail locations in Ohio. This role focuses on implementing customer service excellence, ensuring compliance with company policies, and driving operational efficiencies. The manager will work closely with the Sr. Director of Retail Operations to support training, process improvements, and the overall customer experience, while also evaluating team performance and operational practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated support to the Sr. Director of Retail Operations on customer experience and operational standards.
  • Conduct evaluations and observations post-acquisition to assess operational health.
  • Identify quick wins and opportunities for growth in the state.
  • Evaluate leadership and team performance using Jushi Competencies and Values.
  • Document existing processes and develop action plans for efficiency improvements.
  • Support training and onboarding of staff using various training resources.
  • Act as a liaison for Store Managers during process changes.
  • Implement solutions to address issues identified during audits.
  • Conduct spot checks to ensure compliance with standards and KPIs.
  • Teach and uphold product knowledge and merchandising consistency at the POS.
  • Roll out continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Communicate risks and issues effectively to leadership.
  • Mentor staff through training and performance management processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of management experience in sales or retail.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to navigate multiple software platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.
  • Experience in retail management, preferably with multiple locations.
