About the position

The Area Operations Manager at Jushi Holdings Inc. is responsible for overseeing retail operations across multiple locations in Ohio, ensuring that customer service and operational standards are met. This role involves leading efforts to implement policies and procedures, conducting evaluations, and driving improvements in customer experience and operational efficiency. The position requires a strong focus on team development, compliance, and maintaining high standards across all retail locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated support to the Sr. Director of Retail Operations on customer experience and operational standards.
• Conduct evaluations and observations post-acquisition to assess operational health.
• Identify quick wins and opportunities for growth in the state.
• Evaluate leadership and team performance using Jushi Competencies and Values.
• Document existing processes and develop action plans for efficiency improvements.
• Support training and onboarding of all roles using established training courses and checklists.
• Act as a liaison for Store Managers and Leads during process changes.
• Implement solutions to address issues identified during audits.
• Conduct spot checks and assessments to ensure compliance with standards.
• Teach and uphold product knowledge and merchandising consistency at the POS.
• Drive continuous improvements to enhance transaction times and product offerings.
• Evaluate scheduling to meet business needs and drive KPI performance.
• Communicate risks and issues effectively to leadership.
• Mentor staff through training and performance management processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of previous Sales/Management experience.
• Demonstrated execution of brand and marketing strategy.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
• Expertise in retail management across multiple locations.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to navigate multiple software platforms.
• Flexibility regarding work schedule, including evenings and weekends.
