About the position

The Area Parts and Warranty Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the Parts and Warranty business within a designated zone. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial management in the RV industry. The manager will drive financial performance, maintain financial controls, and support the company's growth objectives while ensuring exceptional customer service and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Parts Department and ensure the availability of necessary parts and accessories.
• Oversee parts managers and employees within the assigned zone.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to manage inventory levels and orders.
• Implement inventory control measures to minimize costs and maximize profitability.
• Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of parts requests for service and warranty repairs and customer retail sales.
• Collaborate with the Director of Parts and Warranty to manage stores and hedge purchasing, including promotional pricing and seasonal sets.
• Manage enterprise A/R parts, including monthly reconciliation for wholesale company.
• Ensure administration and compliance of warranty claims within manufacturer guidelines.
• Coordinate with service advisors and technicians for accurate documentation of warranty-related issues.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve warranty-related disputes to maintain satisfaction.
• Manage A/R for stores within the zone, including monthly reconciliation and write-offs.
• Develop and manage budgets for parts and warranty departments.
• Analyze financial reports and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
• Implement strategies to increase revenue and control expenses in each department.
• Establish reporting focused on efficiency within the parts and warranty departments.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing concerns and complaints promptly.
• Implement customer feedback systems to improve service quality.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and referrals.
• Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork within departments.
• Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews for staff.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting inspections.
• Oversee project management and implementations for new stores, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in parts and warranty dealership management, preferably in the RV or automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proven ability to analyze financial data and provide strategic insights.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in DMS software and tools, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
