About the position

The Area Parts and Warranty Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the Parts and Warranty business within a designated zone. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of financial management in the RV industry. The manager will drive financial performance, maintain financial controls, and support the company's growth objectives while ensuring exceptional customer service and compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Parts Department by partnering with the Director of Parts and Warranty to ensure availability of necessary parts and accessories.
  • Oversee parts managers and employees within the zone, coordinating with suppliers to manage inventory levels and orders.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize costs and maximize profitability.
  • Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of parts requests for service and warranty repairs and customer retail sales.
  • Partner with the Director of Parts and Warranty to ensure administration and compliance of warranty claims within manufacturer guidelines.
  • Coordinate with service advisors and technicians for accurate documentation of warranty-related issues.
  • Develop and manage budgets for parts and warranty departments, analyzing financial reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing concerns and complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for parts and warranty staff, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in parts and warranty dealership management, preferably in the RV or automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proven ability to analyze financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in DMS software and tools, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
