The Area Sales Director for Upstate NY will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve sales and market share goals for the area. This position requires a strong focus on recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing sales team, including Clinical Specialists and Institutional Specialists. The Area Sales Director will provide ongoing sales direction and guidance, ensuring that the team meets revenue goals while adhering to Indivior's policies and procedures. The responsibilities of the Area Sales Director include expense management, monitoring return on investment (ROI), and contributing to the overall business objectives. The director will be responsible for planning, organizing, and monitoring the activities of the sales team, providing regular feedback and conducting field visits to enhance their selling skills and product knowledge. Additionally, the Area Sales Director will collaborate with National Sales Directors and human resources to implement initiatives aimed at reducing turnover and vacancies within the team. This role requires a proactive approach to responding to changing market conditions and fostering professional relationships within the assigned area. The Area Sales Director will also ensure compliance with all legal requirements regarding the storage of company-supplied equipment and promotional materials. The position involves significant travel, with expectations of over 50% overnight travel, and the director will be responsible for special projects as assigned.
