About the position

The Area Sales Manager at Air Time Wireless is responsible for leading a team of sales associates in the Baltimore area, focusing on achieving sales goals and developing new customer opportunities. This role requires strong management skills, a proven sales track record, and the ability to train and motivate staff in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales goals
• Supervise a team of sales associates
• Monitor and coach performance; recommend disciplinary action as needed
• Set and maintain work schedules to meet budgeted hours
• Manage inventory and assets
• Ensure all customers are assisted in a friendly, prompt, professional and ethical manner
• Proactively recruit and train new employees
• Assure proper appearance and functionality of POP displays and equipment
• Adhere to dress code and maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Maintain a positive 'can do' attitude and develop positive relationships with store personnel and management.

Requirements

• Sales Management experience preferred (2 years minimum)
• Minimum 1 year of wireless sales experience
• High School diploma, BA/BS preferred
• Proven leadership skills
• Team oriented with the ability to work in a learning environment
• Drive to meet and exceed performance expectations.
