The TAG Heuer Area Sales Manager is a pivotal role responsible for the development and expansion of the Caribbean and Cruise Ship wholesale business. This position requires building long-term relationships with retailers and key partners to enhance market share and drive merchandising excellence. The Area Sales Manager will focus on achieving sell-out objectives to meet sell-in targets, ensuring that the brand remains competitive and relevant in the dynamic retail landscape of the Caribbean and cruise markets. In this role, the Area Sales Manager will develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets, staying attuned to market trends and competitive dynamics. This includes reviewing brand distribution, optimizing account openings and closures, and analyzing business performance metrics such as sales by door and product collection. The manager will also ensure compliance with the Warranty Activation System, aiming for a 100% completion rate for all watch products sold. Gathering and sharing feedback from retailers, consumers, and competitors will be crucial for refining sales and marketing strategies. Sales responsibilities include building strong relationships with customers at all levels, from owners to retail staff, to drive sell-out performance. The Area Sales Manager will lead commercial negotiations, define sales objectives, and ensure efficient cash collection in collaboration with the finance team. Additionally, the manager will implement impactful incentive programs for sales associates to motivate and enhance performance. Marketing efforts will involve executing co-op marketing plans with retailers, identifying opportunities for events and advertising, and ensuring a consistent online brand presence. The Area Sales Manager will also oversee visual merchandising, ensuring optimal brand expression at points of sale through effective merchandising strategies and maintaining the quality of POS materials. Inventory management is another critical aspect of this role, requiring consultation with retailers to define product assortments and implement efficient order processes. The manager will regularly assess stock situations to meet inventory requirements and propose solutions for any identified risks. Training and product knowledge dissemination are essential, as the Area Sales Manager will share insights about the brand and products, turning sales associates into dedicated brand ambassadors. This includes implementing corporate training strategies and delivering in-store training sessions to enhance brand knowledge and ensure successful product launches.
