About the position

The Area Sales Manager at Axogen is responsible for achieving sales revenue targets and growing market share for a specified territory by promoting, selling, and servicing Axogen's portfolio of nerve repair products. This role involves working from a home office, traveling to customer sites, and practicing ethical territory management to ensure effective organization, planning, and expense control. The Area Sales Manager will also train medical staff on products and procedures, while consistently meeting sales expectations defined by management.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales revenue targets and grow market share for the specified territory.
• Promote, sell, and service Axogen's portfolio of nerve repair products.
• Practice ethical territory management in organization, planning, and expense control.
• Target and develop existing and new accounts to increase sales and revenue.
• Train medical staff on products and procedures.
• Develop and implement plans to achieve/exceed sales targets.
• Manage time effectively to ensure maximum coverage of targeted accounts.
• Develop and maintain accurate account and territory records.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key decision makers and customers.
• Respond to customer requests and resolve complaints promptly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of sales experience in medical sales
• Operating Room sales experience
• Orthopedic and/or Medical device experience preferred
• Must reside in the territory
