About the position

The Area Sales Manager for Chemistry/Immunoassay at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for leading a team of sales executives focused on chemistry and immunoassay products. This role involves developing sales strategies, maintaining customer relationships, and driving sales growth within the assigned region. The position requires significant travel and aims to enhance the sales team's performance through coaching and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

  • Implement a personal business plan to achieve annual sales and financial goals.
  • Develop and maintain high-impact relationships with key customers in the area.
  • Accurately forecast sales for the region and present dashboard metrics.
  • Partner with HSE and RSM Leaders to create and execute IDN Account Plans.
  • Guide the team to ensure sales standard work is being done effectively.
  • Select, coach, train, and develop sales representatives to build a motivated team.
  • Field travel to coach and support sales associates on sales processes.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of complex clinical sales experience, preferably in the diagnostics space.
  • BS/BA degree required; MBA degree preferred.

  • Previous experience leading teams strongly preferred.
