About the position

The Area Sales Manager for Critical Care in Minneapolis/Denver is responsible for executing marketing and sales strategies with targeted Fresenius/NxStage accounts. This role involves working as a clinical and technical expert for Fresenius/NxStage products, differentiating solutions, and conveying value propositions to expand market penetration. The position requires collaboration with sales leaders and account teams to drive sales and meet targets, as well as providing training and support to account team members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all elements of Territory Management including customer targeting, prospecting, selling, closing, implementing and following up with targeted accounts
  • Execute customer targeting and selling efforts, including contracting with targeted accounts
  • Collaborate with sales leaders and account teams to increase prospects and drive closure of opportunities
  • Prepare materials for economic discussions to expand Fresenius therapy
  • Rally internal resources to grow the business in the assigned area
  • Coordinate and inspire the clinical education team and colleagues to exceed customer expectations
  • Implement actions for continual improvement of individual and team performance
  • Create and maintain opportunities in the sales funnel tool
  • Provide training to account team members on strategy and product offerings
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products and the company
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5+ years of sales and sales management experience, with at least 2 years in the PD industry
  • At least 1 year of major account selling and marketing experience, preferably with commercial payors
