About the position

The Area Sales Manager for Critical Care at Fresenius is responsible for executing marketing and sales strategies with targeted accounts in the Minneapolis and Denver regions. This role involves working both independently and as part of a team to promote Fresenius/NxStage products and therapies, acting as a clinical and technical expert to enhance market penetration and address customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all elements of Territory Management including customer targeting, prospecting, selling, closing, implementing and following up with targeted accounts.
  • Execute customer targeting and selling efforts, including contracting with targeted accounts.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders and account teams to increase prospects and drive closure of opportunities to meet sales, orders, and margin targets.
  • Prepare materials to support economic discussions for expanding Fresenius therapy.
  • Rally internal resources to grow the business in the assigned area.
  • Coordinate and inspire the clinical education team and other colleagues to exceed customer expectations.
  • Proactively suggest and implement actions for continual improvement of individual and team performance.
  • Create and maintain opportunities in the applicable sales funnel tool.
  • Provide training to account team members on strategy and product offerings.
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products and the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5+ years of sales and sales management experience, with at least 2 years in the PD industry.
  • At least 1 year of major account selling and marketing experience, preferably with commercial payors.
