The Area Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in executing consumer-facing opportunities that align with the strategic pillars of the Mark Anthony LRB portfolio. This position is responsible for leading execution efforts at both the wholesale and retail levels within the Dallas market, aiming to achieve the distribution and volume goals set for the portfolio. The successful candidate will be accountable for maximizing the sale and distribution of Mark Anthony LRB products through effective management of wholesaler relationships and retail execution. In this role, the Area Sales Manager will conduct monthly planning and review meetings with distributor and broker leadership to benchmark results against quantitative targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). They will develop actionable plans to deliver results and close any performance gaps. The manager will also own and manage a dedicated subset of retail outlets, ensuring strong relationships and performance that align with the overall market strategy. Key metrics for success in this role include achieving a 40% volume target, ensuring wholesaler execution meets local distribution levels and display targets (25%), and managing retail execution across owned accounts (25%). Additionally, the Area Sales Manager will be responsible for maximizing in-market managed funding to 100% usage, including commitments to wholesaler partners. This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to influence external sales teams, and the capacity to communicate effectively across a multi-faceted route-to-market network.
