About the position

The ENT Sales Representative at Medtronic is responsible for selling Surgical Technologies ENT products to hospitals, physicians, and other approved customers within a designated territory. This role involves conducting face-to-face sales calls, executing sales action plans, and providing support to clinical personnel in surgical environments. The representative will also be responsible for maintaining company property and inventory, reporting competitive activities, and complying with quality systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct face-to-face sales calls with physicians, nurses, and other key purchase influencers.
  • Demonstrate, in-service, and sell Medtronic Surgical Technologies capital and disposable products.
  • Execute Sales Action Plans successfully.
  • Plan and strategize sales calls to relevant hospital departments and outpatient surgery centers.
  • Attend meetings and courses inside and outside the territory.
  • Provide support and service to clinical personnel in a surgical environment.
  • Maintain company-owned property and inventory in good working condition.
  • Report competitive activity within the territory to the Region Manager.
  • Maintain all records and reports as requested in a timely fashion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5 years of sales experience with 3 of those years in medical sales.
  • OR Bachelor's Degree AND 3 years of Medtronic Neuroscience Clinical Specialist or Sales Rep I experience plus 2 years of prior clinical or medical sales experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Successful medical sales record, preferably with ENT products.
  • Knowledge of ENT assigned product/therapy customer base.
  • Excellent inter-personal and organizational skills.
  • Preference for local qualified candidates and candidates with Medtronic experience.
