We are actively seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to lead our Fort Wayne, IN sales team as an Area Business Manager and represent a multimillion-dollar brand, “Frontier Communications Inc.” This individual must have a successful history of managing teams. We are seeking an Area Business Manager who is experienced in field sales and has a successful history leading teams. The Area Business Manager will play a crucial role in driving the sales team's growth and expanding market share. This position involves managing and overseeing the operations of multiple locations within the region, with a focus on building relationships with clients and promoting our products or services. As an Area Business Manager, you will be responsible for conducting morning team meetings, providing rotational training both virtually and in-person, and performing ride-alongs with team members. You will manage a team within a 55-mile radius, ensuring that each member is supported and trained effectively. The ideal candidate should have a passion for sales, managing people, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead teams in the field by example. You will be expected to connect with small to midsize businesses to establish B2B outside sales, nurture your pipeline from qualified leads through face-to-face presentations, and maintain open communication with your team throughout each day. Additionally, you will record and organize your sales, follow-ups, and client information through our CRM daily, and work diligently with your recruiting team to find talent and assist with weekly hiring needs.
