About the position

The Area Sales Manager for Georgia will play a pivotal role in executing consumer-facing opportunities that align with the strategic pillars of the Mark Anthony LRB portfolio. This position is responsible for leading execution efforts at both the wholesale and retail levels within the local market, aiming to achieve the distribution and volume goals set for the portfolio. The Area Sales Manager will work closely with wholesalers to maximize the sale and distribution of products, ensuring that local and national sales programs are effectively implemented. In this role, the Area Sales Manager will conduct monthly planning and review meetings with distributor and broker leadership to benchmark results against quantitative targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). This includes developing actionable plans to deliver results and close any performance gaps. The manager will also own and manage a dedicated subset of retail outlets, focusing on both relationship management and performance, in alignment with the overall market strategy. Key metrics for success in this role include achieving a 40% volume target, ensuring wholesaler execution meets local distribution levels and display targets (25%), and achieving retail execution goals across managed accounts (25%). Additionally, the Area Sales Manager will be responsible for maximizing in-market managed funding to 100% usage, including commitments to wholesaler partners. The position requires strong leadership skills to influence external sales teams and ensure that LRB execution is prioritized within the broader Mark Anthony Brands strategy. The Area Sales Manager will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager for LRB and will engage with various stakeholders, including regional sales teams and key account retail execution teams, to foster critical relationships that drive success in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Wholesaler(s) to maximize the sale and distribution of Mark Anthony LRB products in the assigned region.
  • Conduct monthly planning & review meetings with Distributor/Broker leadership to benchmark results against quantitative targets and KPIs.
  • Develop action plans to deliver results and close performance gaps.
  • Manage a dedicated subset of Retail outlets from both a relationship and performance standpoint.
  • Establish wholesaler and area performance goals using objective tools and feedback.
  • Deliver the market level LRB ABP Volume ambition (40% volume target).
  • Meet local distribution levels and display targets across the wholesaler/broker universe (25% wholesaler execution target).
  • Achieve distribution and display targets across TSR owned and managed accounts (25% retail execution target).
  • Maximize in-market managed funding to 100% usage, including wholesaler partner support commitments (10% investment target).
  • Influence external sales teams to prioritize LRB execution as a focus point for Mark Anthony Brands.

Requirements

  • Outstanding sales experience and track record in the CPG industry, preferably in beverages.
  • Distributor and/or supplier experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience displaying dynamic leadership skills to manage and motivate third-party sales teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation and training ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
