About the position

The Area Sales Manager at Axogen is responsible for achieving sales revenue targets and growing market share for the company's nerve repair products within a specified territory. This role involves promoting, selling, and servicing Axogen's product portfolio while maintaining ethical territory management practices. The Area Sales Manager will work from a home office, travel to customer sites, and engage in training medical staff on product usage and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales revenue targets and grow market share for the territory.
  • Develop, implement, and deliver on plans to exceed sales targets.
  • Manage territory and account records effectively.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers and customers.
  • Conduct effective sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Respond to customer requests and resolve complaints promptly.
  • Proactively develop knowledge and skills in relevant areas.
  • Adhere to company policies and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of sales experience in medical sales
  • Operating Room sales experience
  • Orthopedic and/or Medical device experience preferred
  • Must reside in the territory
