About the position

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) role focuses on driving sales growth and market penetration for Caesarstone within the Home Centers sector. The ASM will act as a brand champion, responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, executing sales strategies, and managing key accounts. This position requires a strong customer service orientation and the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing customer relationships and develop new ones through regular visits and presentations.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive customer/sales plans to drive business growth.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Manage projects in the pipeline through quality checks and follow-up.
  • Monitor and manage merchandising materials and samples for assigned customers.
  • Proactively address customer issues and keep management informed of any escalations.
  • Communicate new product opportunities and feedback from field activity to management.
  • Provide regular input on account activity, including status and call reports using Salesforce.
  • Utilize CRM for customer tracking and management.
  • Participate in events such as conventions and trade shows.
  • Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise with sales operations and logistics.
  • Maintain a high degree of product and industry knowledge through events and associations.
  • Accommodate a flexible work schedule including nights and weekends.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of successful sales, business development, or account management experience.
  • Experience in the building materials, interior design, or construction industry is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building rapport with customers and teams.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and devise effective sales strategies.
  • Proficient in negotiating contracts and pricing.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Customer service orientation to respond promptly to needs and requests.
  • Comfortable using technology applications, specifically MS Excel and Salesforce.
  • Must possess a valid current state driver license.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous sales experience in a similar role is a plus.
  • Experience with premium brands or high-end products is advantageous.
