About the position

The Area Sales Manager for Hospice Outreach at Amedisys is responsible for implementing and executing sales initiatives within a designated territory. This role involves supporting business development operations, leading account executives, and establishing new business contacts while maintaining existing relationships. The position requires extensive travel throughout Texas to meet growth quotas and manage individual accounts effectively.

Responsibilities

• Implement and carry out sales initiatives set forth by the company.
• Support day-to-day business development operations of account executives.
• Lead and assist account executives in establishing and developing new business contacts.
• Maintain current relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement a sales and marketing plan to achieve growth quotas.
• Manage individual accounts with specific quotas and territory.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Three (3) years of sales experience in the healthcare industry.
• Reliable transportation and a current driver's license with required liability insurance.
• Supervising experience in a healthcare setting.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree in business and/or management.
• More than one (1) year of supervisory experience within the healthcare industry.
• At least one year of previous hospice experience.
